About

Planning software from people who have run the plan.

Provenesis is built by RedSynth. We are optimization and operations research people who have spent years making plans work inside process manufacturers, and we built Provenesis for networks where every batch is a patient.

01Founder

Christian Hubbs, PhD

Founder, RedSynth

Christian Hubbs, PhD, founded RedSynth. He studied process systems engineering at Carnegie Mellon under Ignacio Grossmann and Nick Sahinidis. He started his career in refinery maintenance and spent years in chemical supply chain and process optimization at a large process manufacturer.

02RedSynth

Who builds Provenesis.

RedSynth builds planning and optimization systems for process industries. Provenesis is our product for advanced therapies.

It is built on Mizahn, a planning platform that grew from years of hands-on planning work across process-industry clients. The same ideas run through everything we build: price decisions in dollars, plan for real variability, and give planners decisions, not dashboards.

The team

Optimization and operations research people with backgrounds at large process manufacturers [TODO: approve naming former employers]. [TODO: list any team members to feature]

03Principles

How we work.

Start from the patient's path.
We build every model around the path from collection to infusion, because that is where a missed date lands.
Answers should be in dollars.
Dollars are the common language between supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and finance.
Uncertainty is part of the plan.
Variability in yields, turnaround, and failures is modeled, not averaged away.
Models should be inspectable.
If a planner cannot see why the model chose something, the model is not finished.
